The thermodynamic analysis of (a) native and (b) irradiated crotamine using DSC showed an upward peak (structure formation) and downward peak (structure melting) in native crotamine at approximately 25 °C and 45 °C, respectively. Irradiated crotamine showed an irregular spectrum with a first component which indicates that the irradiated toxin protein melted at 22.23 °C, suggesting lower enthalpy
