A dssPLA2 was isolated from Daboia siamensis venom. (a) Ion exchange chromatography of Daboia siamensis venom on HiTrap™ CM FF column. Protein was eluted with linear gradient 0–1 M NaCl. The peak with gray-shaded area was PLA2 activity. (b) Peak 2 from the first step was applied on Superdex™ 75 10/300 GL column. Elution was carried out with 10 mM PBS, pH 7.3. (c) SDS-PAGE analysis of venom and theirs fractions. Lane 1: protein markers, lane 2: crude venom, lane 3: fraction no.2 from ion exchange chromatography, and lane 4: fraction no. 2 from gel filtration chromatography
