Results of caspase-3 enzyme activity assay. Cells treated (A) with BV and (B) with BV/Pd (II) complex. The optical density was measured at 405 nm. The OD values were not altered by increasing BV, while the OD values rose following a dose increase from 1/2Cc50 BV/Pd (II) complex [0.5 μg/mL BV/0.425 μM Pd (II) complex] to Cc50 BV/Pd (II) complex [1 μg/mL BV/0.85 μM Pd (II) complex] compared to the control.
