Cover of a publication used in education campaigns to promote the prevention of snakebites in indigenous communities of the Cabécar ethnic group in Costa Rica. This material was prepared in the Spanish and Cabécar languages by a cooperative project coordinated by Dr. Laura Monturiol (Instituto Clodomiro Picado) and developed by Instituto Clodomiro Picado (Universidad de Costa Rica), Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social, the Ministry of Education, and the Cabécar people. It was widely distributed in the Cabécar communities and used in local schools as part of a prevention campaign [42].
